1. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. Here are the cancellation terms for orders placed on SHPPL:

To request a cancellation, email us at info@shppl.store with your Order ID and reason for cancellation. We will process eligible requests within 24 hours.

1.2 Cancellation by SHPPL

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to: product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, inability to verify customer information, non-serviceable delivery location, or any other reason at our discretion. In such cases, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.

2. Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your purchase. If you are not satisfied, here are our return terms:

Return Conditions: Products must be unused, unwashed, with all original tags attached, and in their original packaging. Products that show signs of use, washing, alteration, or damage by the customer are not eligible for return or exchange. Intimate apparel, customised products, and sale/clearance items are non-returnable.

To initiate a return, email info@shppl.store with your Order ID, product details, photographs showing the issue, and your preferred resolution (refund or replacement). Our team will respond within 48 hours with return instructions.

3. Refund Process & Timeline

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund. Here is the step-by-step process:

For COD refunds, you will be required to provide your bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name) via email. Refund will be initiated once bank details are verified.

Refund timelines are calculated from the date of approval, not the date of request. Delays may occur due to banking holidays or processing timelines of your bank. If your refund has not been received within the stated timeline, please check with your bank first, then contact us at info@shppl.store.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be processed in the following cases:

Products returned after the applicable return window has expired. Products that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer. Intimate apparel (for hygiene reasons). Customised or made-to-order products. Products without original packaging and tags. Shipping charges and COD charges (non-refundable). Products purchased during clearance sales marked as "final sale" or "non-returnable".

5. Partial Refunds

In some cases, partial refunds may be issued: if only some items from a multi-item order are being returned, only the value of the returned items will be refunded. If a product shows signs of minor use but is otherwise in acceptable condition, a partial refund may be offered at our discretion.

6. Failed / Pending UPI Payments

If a UPI payment fails or remains in "pending" status:

Failed Payments: If the payment fails at the gateway level, no amount is deducted. If the amount is deducted but the payment is marked as failed, it will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 3-5 business days.

Pending Payments: If a payment remains in "pending" status, we do not confirm the order. The payment status is rechecked periodically. If the payment eventually fails, the amount is auto-refunded. You will not receive a "payment confirmed" email until the payment is actually successful.

7. Governing Law

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
